When they go out, Muslim women wear a kind of clothing to cover their bodies and faces. The one, which reveals the face of the right woman, is a chador and the other, which only reveals the eyes of the left woman, is a niqab. Muslim women put on these types of clothing to express their virtuousness as faith and they think the more they cover, the deeper faith they show.
However, is it true? Our innate sin wiggling inside us never disappear by our good deeds, mortification, or any other things. Moreover, in front of God’s judgement, even our single undetected sin will be obviously revealed. Finally, all human beings will be judged according to their sin.
Nevertheless, we can be exempted from the everlasting judgement thanks to the Cross which Jesus carried for all of us. Only the Cross, which forgives and hides our sin and shame, can clean us up. Therefore, take off the niqab of good deeds and the chador of mortification, and put on the righteousness of Christ. Only in faith. [gnpnews]
