A variety of vegetables are stacked high in front of a grocery store: red-ripe tomatoes, a full sack of onions, potatoes in a corner. I can feel farmers’ invisible labors full of sweat, plowing, sowing, watering, etc.
From time to time, they feel sad looking at withered leaves by blight, irrigate their crops during drought, make water ways in storms, tie fallen branches of crops and fruits to sticks.
Jesus also said that God is a farmer. This farmer break down the harness of sin by abandoning His only son on the Cross while we were suffering from sin. Besides, God has held us in His arms to block our enemy’s violent attacks and thanks to His love, we are in fruit.
