Don’t be afraid, just believe

Jesus Christ who become the Gospel (3)

What should we believe in the face of the fearful situation and hopeless reality? We must believe the promise of truth. God has given us promises. We must remember his promise to us. The Lord says in John 11:25-26, Jesus said to her “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Do you have any hope of this resurrection? Do you believe we will be resurrected? No matter how much we consider the possibility of being resurrected through our efforts, it is impossible. It cannot come from us. But God, who has this resurrection life, gives us resurrection life.

But now, this is what the LORD says- he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)

The Lord will surely find his people scattered in all directions from the ends of the earth and bring them back to God. No matter how deep we may have fallen, he draws us up from it, and brings us who was created for the name of God. God never takes away what he has.

All darkness seems to cover the world. But the deeper the night, the nearer the dawn. The rulers, authorities, and evil forces of the world trample on the church of God, oppose the church, run riot on the roads, as if the whole world were theirs. But it is not over. The Bible says “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Hab 2:14). The word that God has promised and proclaimed does not fail, not even one stroke, and is sure to be fulfilled.

The kingdom of the Lord is advancing even now, stronger than any visible enemy. Hold on to God’s promise and believe in it. Don’t be swayed by the situation and don’t judge by what’s in front of you. Our situation, any number or statistic can discourage us. It may look like dry bones. But we must not dare to speak rudely. Rather, the Lord tells us not to be afraid at that time, but only to believe. Let’s put down the cause analysis now. Choose the path of the truth only because you love the Lord. If you face a time when it seems like everything is ruined while following the Lord, remember it. Don’t be afraid, just believe. (Mar. 2018) <Continued>
