If you walk along the hill of Speer Girls’ High School, you’ll come across Gwang-ju March First hurray movement for the independence of Korea. On March 10th, 1919, all the students of the school shouted “Hurray for the independence of Korea!” All regions of Gwang-ju were covered with Taegeukgis along with white upper garments and black skirts. Taegeukgis made in secret in the Speer Hall located in the basement of the school became the fire of the hurray movement.
At the early modern history of Korea, Christians fervently loved their country. They devoted their precious lives to the Independence of their looted country, their neighbors, and Jesus Christ. And now, there have been a lot of people, Christians, who have devoted their lives for Jesus Christ, neighbors in the hand of Satan, the spiritual independence, and the regain of the light of life. These Christians are, even now, dedicating their lives shouting “Hurray for the spiritual independence of souls!” on the lands where God wants them to be present as grains of wheat, the nutrient for those lands.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.(John12:24_ESV) [gnp news]
