Grains of the sand escape between fingers. The grains also tickle toes between them. Building and wrecking and building again, the kids won’t get tired although they keep playing making sand castles all day long. God well knows our memory of childhood where we made our sand castles. So, after He taught us the Gospel, He told us parables we could easily understand: “Honey, didn’t the houses collapse easily which you built with the sand when you were young? Your faith will collapse like them if you don’t obey my words even though you listened to them. But you will experience the truth if you obey them. The life of a man who obeys me is sturdy like a house built on a rock. The house doesn’t fall down even when it rains, floods, or when the wind rises.” Amen! Let’s build our strong and sturdy houses with the Lord.

“And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.(Matthew 7:26_ESV) [GN Media]
