The Gospel of Eternal Love (5)
The friendship and love of David and Jonathan were the flowers that bloomed from the most impossible destiny. The Lord made us his friends in order to be the love that never ceases, and to be the love together with us forever (John 15:13-14). This love of the Lord cannot be separated by death; neither water nor fire can quench. The Lord invited us, the church, with this love.
Eternal Love Being With Us
Man who is created in the image of God resembles God. Above all, he resembles God’s attribute of love the most. Man feeds on the love of God. He who is unloved is unhappy. Despite he has everything in the world if he is unloved, he is alive but dead. On the other hand, one who has met someone that (s)he could die for love in this world, is the happiest person.
There is no one in the world who is not capable to love. There is no one who is not capable of obeying God’s command, ‘Love’.
The energy of love is no need to ask for more. Because, existentially, man is born with the ability to love.
However, The problem is that the energy direction of love has (been) changed.
Adam’s curse is that he replaced God, whom man should love with his whole heart, will and life, to his love for self. “Self-love” is truly terrible. Even if man knows too well that it’s a damn thing, man’s love for ‘self’ emits energy that never wanes nor get tired, or run dries. What a dreadful curse. Humans, who, in their whole life became captives of Satan and, in following the greed of the sick- self, in essence, acting like children of wrath, have lived as master of ‘themselves’, cannot escape this dreadful curse by their own religious efforts or good works. Only by the Grace of God that is given freely, and the Loving Grace which poured out willingfully on humans in accordance with God’s pleasure and will is the only way to be saved.
Love of Grace Is the Only Way to Salvation
If God loves us, and if he does not give us up, we have hope. “‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”(Ezekiel 16:6) We were like an illegitimate child who had no basis or reason to cry out for salvation. We had no hope If it wasn’t the profound, inevitable, terrific love of God bearing to the end like for Gomer the whore, we had no hope.
At the end of all hope, at the last minute when the chance to return was less than a minute, all that remained of the robber on the right cross of Jesus was a poor breath. Just then, the word he, relied on one piece of grace, shouted like a scream with all his might was, ‘Please, remember me.’
“Please Remember Me”
“But now, this is what the Lord says he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)
No matter anywhere they’re scattered, and there are piled up reasons for ruin, the love of God covers all the faults. Therefore, in the presence of God’s love, no soul should be told, ‘You are over(failure)!’ (May 2017) <To Be Continued>[GNPNEWS ]
