Mongkulla Church, Dagomba in Ghana is filled with people who worship God. It is by God’s grace that adults and kids can have worship services altogether here.
A church only with about 20 people can be called a mega church in Dagomba. Mongkulla Church once had a congregation of fifty. The leader, however, who had led the church suddenly left one day, and the service stopped. The church building was abandoned and ruined with dust.
The villagers attempted to use the church for other purposes. Then, a missionary heard the news and decided to rent and remodel it, and finally it recovered its identity as a chapel for God. This way, services at Mongkulla Church has resumed.
Along with the mending of the church in and out, the temple in everyone’s mind was also rebuilt, and eventually God’s touch has resided in Mongkulla Church, recovering their worship. When God’s people like Nehemiah and Ezra obey Him, His kingdom comes and the glory shines beautifully.
“And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.”(Nehemiah 12:43_ESV) [gnp news]
