One day, the wisemen, Magi, saw a star in the sky. They put gold, frankincense, and myrrh in their treasure boxes. Following the moving star, they were so careful not to miss the star. A town appeared in the distance. Their hearts began to beat faster than ever. And there was a palace in the town. There! They arrived at the palace and stood in front of Herod the king. “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” However, the King of the Jews wasn’t there. “Why isn’t he in the palace?” “Where on earth is he?” They realized they missed the star because of their thought that the King is in the palace.
Again, the star appeared when the Magi restarted to look for the King. Finally, the star stopped moving and stayed over a place. They rejoiced and rejoiced. Here! Even though the place was a humble stable, it was the most glorious spot in the world where God was present. Our king was born. He is Jesus Christ who came to this world to save me. And He has been present within us as Immanuel.
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Immanuel”(Matthew 1:23_ESV)
