I Will Wake the Dawn (5)

Things have not changed at all. But David does it bravely, relying on God. “With God we will gain victory; and he will trample down our enemies(Psalm 108:13)”. Our lives, that are frightened, and go around looking for how to survive, should be over.

If we are in the hands of the Lord, let us bravely go, even if we would die soon! The real courage is to rely on God. The people who are brave because they rely on God, even when their mixed emotions shake them, and even they fall 100 times, they could still boldly shout for the one 101 time, “The Lord is the one who helps me! Jesus is my strength!”

He who makes up his mind, who praises the LORD with all his heart in every situation, and who boldly moves forward with the LORD, wakes up the dawn of history even before the darkest dawn. We will wake history. The Lord gave us the key of history. We must make the Lord to come soon.

When the gospel is preached to all nations, the end comes.” And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come(Matt. 24:14)” We should not let the LORD to rest for this purpose. He said, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6~7)

Let’s Hold On To the Lord’s Promise. The Lord Does It!

We who have the gospel, the answer to history, can never live a ordinary life. We must go forward bravely. David Platt, author of ‘the Radical’ and the youngest pastor in the history of a large church in the United States, once visited South Sudan. There, he met a young man who said “I’m going to change the world.” He asked him how. Then, the young man replied “I will make disciples of all nations”. David Platt again asked, “Is it possible?” Then the young man answered confidently. “There’s nothing Impossible! because Jesus told us!”

There’s nothing Impossible! Why not when the Lord, who has all the authority of heaven and earth, is with us?! It is said, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (May 28:18-20)

No matter how desperate the situation of this country and this nation may be, however the darkness has blocked the way, the Lord has given us the power to pray in the name of Jesus. “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession(Psalms 2:8)”, he promised. Why can’t you pray? Why can’t you obey? What are you afraid of? What counts as guarantee to us? Let’s hold on to the Lord’s promise. THE LORD DOES IT! THE LORD IS ALIVE. If you can’t do it alone, you can do it together with others. Can a second religious reform take place again? There’s nothing impossible. Have you not been prayed? If we worship the Lord and do God’s mission, he will come soon! Let’s wake the dawn! Let’s wake the dawn even we live just one day, with faith living in eternal life.
