Kids are gathering at Lebanese refugee camps. On seeing a camera, a kid begins to run toward the camera with a playful face. He also makes a V sign with his fingers smiling.

According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, Syrian refugees have become over 5.4 million. Syrian refugees in Lebanon are 1.5 million. About 90% of them are extremely poor. Moreover, Covid-19, the 2020 explosion at Beirut, Ukraine-Russia war, etc have accelerated Lebanese economy into the worst condition. So, Syrian refugees are in worse situations than before.

At this time of disaster, Lebanese Evangelistic churches are giving hope to refugees. A Syrian refugee woman went to a church to get a package of food for her family and met Jesus Christ there. Her life has changed after she met Lebanese church people who give love with no condition. Peace and joy of worship sprang inside of her out of nowhere. Jesus’s miracles have been happening until today inside of the souls who are like barren soil. And the miracles make paths in the wilderness and rivers in desserts. ““Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”(Isaiah 43:18~19_ESV) [gnp news]
