Pakistan is going through the worst monsoon season and the death toll from floods has been over 1,500 . A third of the nation has been submerged, over 1,740,000 houses destroyed, and around 660,000 people are staying at temporary safe houses by the floods this year, which means about 15% of the population has been damaged.

Khipro community has taken the action with the help of prayer supporters for the Pakistani souls, whose lives have been destroyed by the successive disasters including the nation’s bankrupt crisis. The relief kit contains a month’s worth of meals which is the least for a family of 5~6. Regardless of their religion, the community delievered the relief food to 80 families which belong to the extreme poverty. They had a Gospel time with singing and prayer before they give away the charity. We hope this Gospel time will become the way through which the people who have lost their family and house meet Jesus Christ.

“if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.”(Psalms 11:3~4_ESV) [gnp news]
