The way we react to Covid-19 reveals just how lacking our ability is. What is true worship, what is our true faith, what is our spiritual authority, what is our prayer ability…

The appearance of the church revealed how poor my spiritual condition was. It also revealed what the reality of my belief. ‘Isn’t this enough for me to be a good person?’ The reality of the belief that comforted me by reflecting me on a universal standard was revealed. What was the foundation of my stability on which I relied and felt proud was revealed.

It cannot be denied that we have been deceived by the visible world. Through Covid-19, we experienced that all standards in this world, such as money, people’s recognition, and reputation, that we believed and lived as reality are futile things that can be blown away in an instant.

What are you most worried about now that our busy daily life has stopped, even though we know it is important, but we do not have time to pray and think about spiritual things on the excuse that we are busy? What are you most afraid of? Many face a difficult situation where they have to face their limits, experience terrible bankruptcies, and accept failure.

Experts say we can’t go back to pre-coronavirus. They say an epidemic will completely change the world, and there will be huge changes in politics, economy, society, technology, laws, institutions and the environment, and the impact of the change will last for decades.

But the Bible says that now it the accepted time, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Not tomorrow, but today, not next, but now. Now is the right time to receive grace, and now is the day of salvation.

Obedience to the Word of the living God by faith alone is a simple and clear conclusion. Still, people do not accept this as the conclusion of their lives, and they keep embracing two minds and getting confused. How many more do we have to see people who eventually perish without ever having a chance to turn back? When you see the end of the lives of those who live without faith, when will you conclude that you will obey God’s Word of truth? If you haven’t come to a conclusion yet, listen to the witnesses surrounding you like a cloud. There is something they all say all the time.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.” (Hebrews 11:1-2).

In the midst of life and history, where people say, “There is no God”, they lived a God-centered life with only faith against the nature of the flesh. Although they were born sinners just like us, they were able to live as eternal victors because they had a very simple and clear conclusion. It was “to live in obedience to the Word of the living God by faith alone.” They were in the flesh but lived in the spirit. Although they lived on the earth, they were of the heavens.
