The Ganges, India. A woman was waiting for someone endlessly at dusk. I was going to ask her who or what she was waiting but I didn’t. She turned on her heels heavily with emptiness in her mind after a long wait. If you have a flutter hearing the word ‘wait’, that means there still is hope.
Wait is just a daydream and gives emptiness to the people who has no hope because of the death sentence due to their sins.
Here, however, is the good news which makes our waiting meaningful! Jesus Christ, who has paid for our sins through the Cross to save our lives, is waiting for us to hear the good news, to hear His name and call out Him, to reach out toward our Father, GOD. He is waiting still today. He will save us.
“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us.”(Isaiah 25:9_ESV) [gnp news]
