In a town stretches a yellow wheat field in Prague. Seeds sown in spring bud and have been ready to bear fruits. The farmers sweat and tears percolate through this endless wheat field.
Farmers sow seeds with faith in the harvest time. Jesus Christ also saw everything with faith; especially the souls that will become alive by His death. That’s why he was willing to be a wheat berry.
Seeing souls that will get alive, Jesus went to a Samaritan woman. He said to her that He is the eternal water which makes a person never thirst again. She, whose soul had thirsted, believed in Jesus Christ. On that day, her seemingly endless thirst ended. Jesus said to her this: “Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.”
Now, it’s our turn. Seeing the souls that will become alive, the Lord is asking us: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” [gnpnews]
“Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.”(John 4:35_NASB)
